A variety of families coming together in a loving, diverse, and safe community, learning and growing along the early childhood journey.
The Variety Child Learning Center promotes the development, education and inclusion into the diverse community of children with or at risk of disabilities. While also increasing the capabilities/reducing the stresses of those families and initiating improvements in the delivery of services to children and their families.
Variety Child Learning Center also provides training and technical assistance to early childhood personnel and promotes programs, research, attitudes, policies and collaborations that improve child development and family life.

HISTORY
Variety Child Learning Center was founded in 1966 BY JUDITH SIMON BLOCH. VCLC IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT SCHOOL THAT IS CHARTERED BY THE NEW YORK STATE BOARD OF REGENTS. MS. BLOCH BEGAN THE SCHOOL BASED ON THREE IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES:
Early Identification • Early Intervention • Parent Involvement
MORE THAN 50 YEARS LATER, THESE REMAIN THE CORNER STONES OF VCLC’S PROGRAMS.
