Spring Literacy Program at Variety Child!

Last week we held our Spring Literacy Program! Misha, our dance movement therapist, read a lively and interactive rendition of the book Grow Flower Grow by Lisa Bruce. Our music therapist, Siobhan, sang songs about seeds, flowers, fruits, vegetables and planting a garden and our art therapy intern helped the children create a beautiful watercolor garden for each class. Finally, the children were able to choose a book they wanted to take home and keep! We hope you’ll have as much fun reading with your children as we did!
