Gallow teacher Sean Caldwell, led the students in a school-wide effort to create what would be an iconic piece of art that today hangs in the school hallway.
“Caring for the earth is very important,” said Mr. Caldwell. We worked with the theme “Recycle Today for a Better Tomorrow! With that in mind, we had each class paint bottle caps blue and green. We then glued the caps together in the shape of the earth to represent the importance of recycling and how we can save the planet.
This also showed our students that creativity can make something marvelous out of the discarded.
